How We Share Your Information

With Service Providers and Contractors

When a booking is made, we share relevant customer information (such as name, service location, and contact details) with the assigned service provider. Service providers may see customer profile information necessary to perform the requested service.

With Customers

Service provider profiles, including names, bios, photos, ratings, and general service areas, are visible to customers browsing or booking through the Platform.

With Third-Party Service Providers

We work with vendors who help us operate the Platform, including payment processors (Stripe), accounting software (QuickBooks), CRM platforms (HubSpot), contract management (DottedSign), and analytics tools. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to blist.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of blist, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If blist is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, analyze how the Platform is used, and deliver relevant content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as there is a specific, identifiable business or legal need. For service provider (contractor) applicants who are approved, we retain application and screening records for five (5) years following the termination of the contractor relationship. For applicants who are declined, we retain application records for two (2) years following the decision date. Background check reports are obtained through our verification provider, Checkr, and are not separately retained by blist beyond the decision window; blist retains only the compliance and decision record. When data reaches the end of its retention period, we securely delete or anonymize it and log the disposal. For all other account data, we retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

  • Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated notice.
